Delete Your Account & Data

This page explains how to delete your Sathya Matrimony account (the Android app and the website sathyamatrimony.com, operated by Sathiya Sathiyaseelan) and the personal data we hold about you.

Option 1: Delete it yourself (instant)

1. Open the Sathya Matrimony app or website and sign in.
2. Go to Dashboard → Settings (in the app: tap More → Settings).
3. Under Delete Account & Data, tap Delete My Account & Data.
4. Enter your password, type DELETE and confirm.

Option 2: Request deletion (if you cannot sign in)

Fill in the form below, or email sathyamatrimony8@gmail.com from the email address you registered with. We will verify the request and delete your account within 7 days.

What is deleted

• Your account, name, email, phone number and password
• Your profile, partner preferences and “about me” text
• All photographs, ID proofs and horoscope documents you uploaded (files are erased from storage)
• Interests sent and received, shortlists, blocks, reports you made and profile views
• Membership, subscription and payment records, and login history

What is kept, and for how long

• Automated database backups may still hold a copy for up to 30 days, then they are destroyed automatically.
• Nothing else is kept, except what the law may require us to retain (for example to handle a legal dispute).
