1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (21 for prospective grooms, in line with Indian marriage law conventions) to create a profile on Sathya Matrimony, whether for yourself or on behalf of a family member with their consent.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information in your profile and for keeping your login credentials confidential. You agree not to create a profile using false information or impersonate another person.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Upload obscene, offensive, misleading, or copyrighted content you don't have rights to.
- Harass, threaten, or send unsolicited commercial messages to other members.
- Use the platform for any purpose other than seeking a marriage match for yourself or a family member.
- Attempt to circumvent membership restrictions, scrape data, or interfere with the platform's operation.
We reserve the right to suspend or delete any profile that violates these terms, at our discretion, without prior notice.
4. Membership Plans & Payments
Membership plans and their benefits (such as the number of contact views) are described on our Membership Plans page and may change from time to time. All payments are currently collected manually (bank transfer / UPI, as instructed on the Membership page) and are confirmed by our team — there is no automatic online payment processing. A plan is activated only after our team confirms receipt of payment.
5. No Guarantee of Match
Sathya Matrimony is a platform that facilitates introductions between members. We do not guarantee that you will find a suitable match, verify the intentions of other members beyond the document verification we perform, or take responsibility for the outcome of any relationship or marriage arising from use of this platform. Members are responsible for exercising their own judgment and diligence before proceeding with any relationship.
6. Verification
Photos, ID proof, and horoscope uploads are reviewed by our team before being marked as verified/approved, but this review does not amount to a background check or a guarantee of a member's identity, character, or circumstances.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sathya Matrimony and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to losses arising from interactions with other members.
8. Termination
You may delete your profile at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms.
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at [YOUR CITY/STATE].
